CashDro Conquers Horecava 2026 (Amsterdam) and Consolidates Its Position as a Benchmark in Cash Management CashDro, together with its concessionaire for the Netherlands, KluisKassa (CashDro Nederland) – ESME Group, has once again been present at the Horecava trade fair in Amsterdam, where the safest cash management solutions on the market were showcased, creating a great impression among visitors. From January 12 to 15, our stand became one of the main attractions of the event. The different CashDro finishes, together with our T-Quiosk self-service solutions, captured the attention of both large chains and small businesses looking to take the step towards more efficient, secure, and automated hospitality. The event, held at the RAI Amsterdam complex, brings together more than 60,000 participants from 30,000 interested companies each year, who visit over 700 exhibitors from the Horeca sector. In this top-level setting, CashDro has shown that it does not just participate: it leads, innovates, and sets trends. With an extensive network of shops, it offers carefully selected garments that combine fashion, quality, and environmental commitment. Every purchase at Humana helps reduce textile waste and supports social and international cooperation projects in 14 European countries, 10 African countries, 3 in Latin America, and in China. Challenge The implementation of CashDro arose from the need to manage an increasingly large cash flow (coins and banknotes) as well as the rapid expansion of stores across the Iberian Peninsula in recent years. Manual cash handling caused long queues during peak hours and lengthy processes during cash register changes, requiring one employee to act exclusively as a Cash Manager in charge of all store cash. Additionally, the lack of reliable banknote validation led to the late detection of counterfeit bills, which had to be regularly reported to the police. Solution The client opted for an intelligent cash management solution by integrating a customer-facing CashDro system at its points of sale. This way, sales assistants no longer handle cash directly, giving customers a sense of independence and significantly improving their shopping experience. As explained by André Figueiral, IT Manager at Humana and responsible for the implementation of CashDro across all stores, improvements were noticeable from day one. First, long queues during cash closing disappeared, as CashDro allows instant, error-free transitions. In addition, there was no longer a need for a dedicated Cash Manager, since CashDro ensures that the register always balances, with every transaction recorded. Last but not least, they stopped going to the police with counterfeit bills, as CashDro features top-tier validators certified by the European Central Bank. New Solutions Implemented Humana is currently installing the CashDro4+ model in each of its stores, thus reinforcing the need to incorporate the most secure smart cash drawer on the market into its 85 locations. Furthermore, having access to platforms such as Customer Controller and the recently launched CustomerApp gives the client total, real-time, and remote control of their cash flow from anywhere in the world.
